The number of individuals and families who have been afflicted by addiction is staggering. Most people have been touched by addiction in one way or another and are aware of the long recovery road ahead for those committed to a sober life.

Helping people heal and get the help they need has a tremendous impact on their recovery, the people surrounding them and our world.

We are grateful for all your support in the way that is most meaningful to you. Come Rest Awhile is a federally recognized taxed exempt non-profit organization (501c3). As such, donationations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

With your help, our goal this year (2023) is to raise $50,000.

This money will go not only help with our scholarship fund but will also help with key house improvement projects.

We also accept donations in the form of:

Packaged and canned food
Cleaning products; hand, dish, laundry
Bedding for twin size beds
Paper products
Outdoor plants, trees, scrubs

Your contributions to Come Rest Awhile, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes.

Our PROJECTS

Replace all of the old wall to wall carpeting throughout the house with Luxury Vinyl Tile. This is a relatively new flooring product. It's less expensive than wood, easy to install, clean and it's waterproof.

Replace all (10x) of the twin beds, mattress protection pads and box springs.
Replace outdoor awning on the side of house.
