Our Mission and Approach
Our mission is to offer a safe, supportive environment in a family setting to women in recovery from substance abuse.
The house is located in a residential neighborhood in Lake Oswego, a community on the west bank of the Willamette River, a few miles south of Portland Oregon.
During a resident’s first month, she is encouraged to attend 30 twelve step meetings in 30 days and work the program with another woman in recovery. After the first month, three twelve step meetings a week are required.
Come Rest Awhile residents benefit from a healthy start in recovery. They form connections with other recovering women, share experiences and develop friendships while supporting one another.
The goal of sober living in a safe environment is to learn the skills needed to transition to an independent life in recovery. The requirements for residence and rules of the house facilitate the steps necessary to rebuilding her life and establishing herself in a supportive community.
We accept women age 18 and over, regardless of race, creed, religion, ethnic background or sexual orientation.
