Sober living for women in recovery, tucked away in the heart of lake oswego.

Come Rest Awhile, founded in 2001, is a non-profit sober living facility for women.  It's located in a large house in a beautiful residential neighborhood in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Lake Oswego sits on the west bank of the Willamette River, a few miles south of Portland, Oregon.

Our mission is to offer a safe, supportive environment in a family setting to women in recovery from substance abuse.

The house accommodates no more than 10 women at a time.

Come Rest Awhile residents benefit from a healthy start in recovery. The women form connections with other women in recovery, sharing experiences and developing friendships while supporting one another.

The goal of Come Rest Awhile is to foster women’s transition to an independent life in recovery.

The requirements for residents and rules of the house facilitate the steps necessary to rebuilding her life and establishing her in a supportive community.

We accept women aged 18 years and over, regardless of race, creed, religion, ethnic background or sexual orientation.

Length of stay varies from six months to one year; the average stay is 9 months. Since 2015, Come Rest Awhile has provided a home for over 600 women in recovery.
